Samahang Kamanlalakbay
The concept of Samahang Kamanlalakbay as an organization of all partner communities of UST developed from the Kamalalakbay. Kamanlalakbay was conceptualized and implemented in 2002 as a regular (annual) gathering of all UST partner communities. In the years 2002 to 2004, Kamanlalakbay served as a venue for the training/formation of regular and selected leaders of partner communities for community development which includes leadership, organizing, organizational/community skills, projects development and management. It was 2006 when Kamanlalakbay stinted into initiatives and processes of federalizing all partner communities. Two of these processes were the election of officers and the formation of sectoral/geographical clusters. From then on, the effort to form all the University's partner communities as an organization was named Samahang Kamanlalakbay.
