Program Thrusts
The main programs of the UST-SIMBAHAYAN Community Development Office that concretely expressed its mandate are:
Community-based Programs
HELPS (Health, Education, Livelihood, Physical/environmental and Spiritual) programs utilizing direct community organizing and participatory development methodologies based on research.
Sectoral Programs
Research-based programs specifically designed for vulnerable/at risk marginalized sectors of society like the sick, the elderly, youth, children, differently-abled, etc.
Nonformal Education Programs
Programs offering short courses grounded on research, with the end view of providing life and technical skills relevant to community needs and for improving employability or entrepreneurial potentials of the learners.
